| Darn night... | | |
| One class for today, then I'm free. I think I shall start my weekend off by running to Best Buy and buying RENT, then I shall be off to Walmart for the usual stuff people buy at Wally-world... Then, I will begin searching for blankets and such for "fort building", and maybe some basketball watching, and some Geoff visiting, and then some Heather Ward time, and then finally, some RLSA social time... Should turn out to be a pretty good weekend.. if all goes as planned. We'll see, we'll see.... Hope "everyone" enjoys their weekend! | | |
| I think I'm ready. I'm trying to make plans for this weekend so I can keep my mind off of the past, and on the future. I must stay positive. I need to think about school, I'm almost done. I need to think about future jobs. I need to think about everything but him.
Anyone want to go camping this weekend... a few of us are trying to get people together. Let me know if you want to.
| Due to some unfortunate findings/events, I will be posting both protected and on a new xanga. So, if you get any posts from me, after this one, it will be protected. Just to let anyone who reads this know. Hope this will solve some problems. Peace | | |
| Well, I finally am going back to Springfield today. I've been at home for about a week and a half. Parts of it were nice, others sucked butt. I will say, the cool things were: getting to go out to lunch with people I like. Working where I earn good money. Seeing my family. And sometimes, being with Chad. The things I didn't like: Not getting enough sleep. Having to pay my mom lots of money (poo). Finding out more and more things that were hidden and lied about. Not being able to escape when I want(ed) to. And thinking about having to drive home.
I'm really excited to get home because I want to see the friends I met in St. Louis again, and Emmye and Candace. I miss them. I am so proud of myself for taking the opportunity to go to the MPRA conference, and to meet new people, students and professionals. I learned a lot, and made some great connections with people who work in my field. I also became one of the student section representatives (for MPRA) from MSU, and volunteered to be an Education Chair. It wa a big step because I wasn't sure how much time it would take away from other areas of my life, but I decided to say screw it, what could be more important that this right now.... nothing.. ha! So, yeah, I'm uber excited.
Anywho, I need to get packing so I get home at a decent time, and so Chad can come pick me up and take me to get McDonald's breakfast.. mmmmmmm... So, peace out A-town!
